You’ve seen our slogan, “Holland’s best Malinois, bred in America,” but what do we mean by that and what does that mean for you?

At SHK, we’re constantly striving to maintain a little piece of the Netherlands’ old school here in America. We look to the origins of the breed and take our cues from the masters that have come before. We then incorporate the best bloodlines from their top kennels into our breeding program. It’s incredibly important to us that we carry on the tradition that produced the magnificent Malinois in the first place. We’re not interested in producing anything less than the highest quality canines.

By importing only select, top quality dogs, we feel we’ve created a program that will produce a top-of-the-line puppy at reasonable prices. When you see how closely your dog is related to the top dogs in the world, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The old sayings “don’t fix something that isn’t broken” and “don’t recreate the wheel”, we take as sage advice. You won’t find designer dogs or thuggish fashion statements here. Just pure bred, get down to business dogs, from decades old lines of premium working dogs.

You’ve found the home of the best Mals in the country. Need confirmation? Check out their pedigrees for yourself. But Mike, I’ve heard “you’re not buying paper, you’re buying a dog!” That’s a fair point, I really prefer to let the dogs do the talking anyway. You’ll see the quality difference in well-bred dogs vs the “make a quick buck” or “got loose” brands. Our clients love to brag on their dogs and I would encourage you to speak to them directly. Many are repeat buyers or bought two their first time. Their dogs & referrals sell our dogs, so we don’t have to.
